I am Valentina
With over 15 years of experience in shiatsu, including 8 years dedicated to women's health and perinatal care, I trained as a broad-spectrum doula and perinatal coach to provide comprehensive support throughout preconception, pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.
Today, I support women and couples by combining ancestral wisdom and scientific knowledge, bodywork and energy work, shiatsu and compassionate listening, so that you can experience rites of passage that suit you and your values, going through them with complete sovereignty and confidence.

Basé sur la médecine chinoise, le shiatsu est une pratique japonaise qui consiste à exercer des pressions sur des points et des méridiens spécifiques afin de rééquilibrer l'énergie et de promouvoir le bien-être physique et émotionnel.
Il se pratique tout habillé.
Comme le dit l'un de ses fondateurs, le shiatsu est comme une maman qui tient son bébé dans ses bras.

DOULA
The word “doula” means “one who serves,” and is generally understood as a non-medical companion who supports the birth process overall. However, in a broader sense, as a full-spectrum doula , I support all of life’s transformational portals, each experienced as a possible rebirth.
My role is to support you to reconnect and unravel the power of your intuition and your inner resources.

About me:
My name is Valentina, I was born in Rome in 1982, I am a mother of three children and I live in Brussels. In Belgium, I found love, discovered the adventure of motherhood and changed careers: from a former university researcher in architecture, I became a shiatsu practitioner and doula serving couples and families.
As a shiatsu practitioner and doula, I offer comprehensive support to help people navigate the major transformative stages of life, in the knowledge that each of these moments potentially represents the birth of a new self, a “rebirth”.

SHIATSU: Accademia Italiana Shiatsu Do (Italy, certified 4 levels); Iokaï (2 levels, Belgium).
SHIATSU WELLMOTHER: Wellmother, Suzanne Yates (United Kingdom).

My path:
After graduating with a degree in architecture in 2009, I obtained a PhD in urban studies in 2013, which led to a position at KUL University in Brussels. In 2015 (the year Elisa was born!), I left academia to devote myself to shiatsu, which became my profession. From 2017 (the year Luca was born!), I specialised in supporting women by training at the Wellmother shiatsu school. I practised in private practice, at a renowned spa in Brussels (Serendip Spa & Yoga) and at a family paramedical centre (Nestia). In 2023 (after Rosa was born!), I started leading circles for mothers and their babies. In 2024, I won a scholarship to become a doula and perinatal coach, in 2025 I certified as a broad-spectrum quantik doula to accompany you in every portal of the Wheel of Life.
